Welp, if all else fails, you’ll have to do a clean reinstall of Windows. Open Task Manager and scroll down and see if there are any services using an unusual amount of resources and try stopping them. Sometimes even problematic services can cause this too (yes, really). See if you can use your antivirus software and start a full scan. ![]() If the process "explorer.exe" is already running, this (probably) won't work. ![]() If it's not, click File > Run and key in explorer.exe and press enter. Check if a process "explorer.exe" is running. Open Task Manager by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc and go to the Details tab. This probably isn't an issue with your hardware but rather with Windows. ![]()
